Warranty and Exchange Policy for Pump Solutions Pro Inc.
1. Standard Warranty
Pump Solutions Pro Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a 12-month warranty from the date of installation for all repaired hydraulic pumps. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. To maintain this warranty, customers must conduct oil analysis sampling at the time of installation and every 500 hours thereafter, or as recommended by our service team. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in voiding the warranty.
2. Extended Warranty
For customers seeking additional protection, we offer extended warranty coverage for up to 5 years or 7,500 operating hours, whichever comes first. This coverage can be purchased for an additional 10-15% of the transaction price. The extended warranty includes the same protection as the standard warranty, along with:
- Priority Service: Receive expedited service and support to minimize downtime.
- Transferability: The extended warranty can be transferred to a new owner if the equipment is sold, adding value to your investment.
- Annual Inspections: Our team will conduct annual inspections to ensure the equipment remains in optimal working condition.
3. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
The warranty, both standard and extended, does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper installation and maintenance.
- Normal wear and tear, including consumables such as filters and seals.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs carried out by personnel not authorized by Pump Solutions Pro Inc.
- Damage caused by external factors such as accidents, environmental conditions, or natural disasters.
4. Exchange Program
We offer a comprehensive Exchange Program to minimize downtime and ensure quick turnaround for your hydraulic pump needs.
4.1 Process:
- Upon receipt of a purchase order, we will send a fully rebuilt “Exchange Unit” along with an invoice that includes the cost of the Exchange Unit and a “Core Deposit” fee to secure the return of the old “Core Unit.”
- After receiving the old Core Unit, it will be inspected based on our Core Return Criteria. If the returned unit meets these criteria, a full or partial refund of the Core Deposit will be issued.
4.2 Core Return Criteria:
- Return Requirement: The purchaser must return the old Core Unit. Retaining the Core Unit by paying the Core Deposit is not an option unless agreed upon at the time of order.
- Matching Part Number: The Core Unit must carry the same part number as the Exchange Unit, or an approved substitute.
- Complete Return: The unit must be returned complete and unopened within 30 days from the date of purchase. A disassembled unit will incur a deduction of 10% from the Core Deposit.
- Component Condition: Missing or non-reusable parts such as main housing, covers, pump heads, accessory pumps, servo controls, and damaged electro-mechanical devices will result in deductions from the Core Deposit.
4.3 Core Deposit Refunds:
- Upon satisfactory inspection, a full or partial credit note will be issued for the Core Deposit. If the returned Core Unit fails to meet the return criteria, deductions will be made accordingly, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
5. Expedited Service Guarantee
For critical applications, we offer an Expedited 48-Hour Service guarantee at an additional cost of 10-15% of the transaction price. This ensures that your equipment is up and running with minimal delay. Please consult our service team to verify the eligibility of your components for this expedited service.
6. Limitation of Liability
Pump Solutions Pro Inc.’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective component as outlined above. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of use, revenue, or profits.
7. Governing Law
This warranty policy is governed by the laws of the state in which the component was serviced. Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
8. Modifications
Pump Solutions Pro Inc. reserves the right to modify or terminate this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will not affect the terms of existing warranties already issued.
